Calypso Orchid
A community organization's activities are completed by volunteers. We need help with:
- Trail building and maintenance
- Coordinating events
- Providing information at booths at community events
- Letter writing
- Attending meetings
- Board and steering group members
If you are interested in helping out for a bit to long-term, please contact us.
Membership
Membership in the Society is from year to year. We start collecting the upcoming years membership dues in October and they are due by December 31. Members have until 31 March to remain on the roll. Dues are $15.00 per year per person.
There are 3 ways to pay your dues:
- Online using a credit card through Pay Pal:
Note: You can use Pay Pal even if you don't have an account with them. On the first Pay Pal screen, after entering the amount you are paying, select the box that says "Donate with a Card" and you will be able to pay using a credit card. On the payment screen, don't forget to select 'Canada' as the country/region to have the correct address fields available.

Just hand your dues to the hike or activity leader
Membership is important to us even if the member is not actively participating in events. Of course we wish members to be active, but their
name on the list provides weight with the various levels of government with whom we deal. As we are first and foremost an advocacy group, membership counts.
